The Prim brand marks the Indian summer with golden shades and an eye-catching retro. But the complete return to the past is not happening – Prim likes to do everything in their way, nicely in Czech style. In the Retro collection, you will now find a few really interesting pieces that combine elements of the past and present in an original way. And the ladies were also thought of. The convex glass and golden shade of the Prim Retro Automatic watch exudes a vintage atmosphere that will captivate almost every retro-style watch lover. And what makes this new Prim watch different from most retro watches? For many men, the smaller size might be an obstacle as, according to current standards, it doesn't flatter the men's wider wrist (authentic retro models are usually smaller in size). Therefore, Prim decided to solve this problem – Prim Retro Automatic watches have an above-average case size of 45 mm.
The design studio MPM came up with this idea as they collaborated on the watch with the Prim brand. The designers also made the watch special with the sand structure of the dial and the unusual detail of elongated indices with small Arabic numerals.
The convex mineral glass hints that this watch was not intended for everyday wear. A convex glass that is not coated with a sapphire layer has a greater chance of getting scratched. The Prim brand, therefore, recommends protecting the watch from any shock or impact (even if it's just tapping on the edge of the table).
The variant with a blue dial also looks very nice on a men's wrist. 
One of the most interesting works of this year by Prim brand is the Prim Retro CZ 21 Automatic W01P watch. This watch intrigues you with the well-thought-out design full of tasteful details and the above-average 45 mm case size, which is pretty unusual for social or retro-style watches. In addition, the number of these watches is limited to only 40 pieces for different color variants.
For the retro style, convex glass is practically a matter of course. When it comes to the W01P watch, it is sapphire, which is amazing. Of course, the convex glass will suffer various shocks (whether you tap the table with your hand or any other impact). But thanks to sapphire, which is very difficult to scratch, the glass is practically "insured" against harsh treatment.
The dial is decorated with a distinctive texture. There is a practical indicator of the date at the third hour and a sub-dial with a 24-hour hand. Many fans of the Czech brand will also appreciate that the day and month indicators are in the Czech language.
The second hand carries a nice detail in the form of the letter P.
We can tell the Prim brand really thinks about the look of the watch as we look at the decorated movement. The watch is powered by a mechanical movement with automatic winding caliber 2867, which the Prim brand has been using since 2009.
The Retro CZ 21 W01P watch type is available in two versions – with a smooth bezel modified by polishing or with a structured bezel with a pineapple pattern.
The rough structure of the dial is visually crushed by the elegant leaf hands, the font style used for the numeral 12, and the concentrated circles beautifying the dials.
Thanks to the structured bezel and buttons on the sides of the crown, the W01P model possesses a light, sporty-elegant look.
The Prim Retro Automatic 21 watch is another piece combining a modern size of 45 mm, a retro convex glass, and the originality of the Prim brand.
The large, simple dial with a contrasting background excels in readability. To spice up such a clean design, Prim used the elongated indices, which untraditionally intersect the digits of the minute scale.
However, the most interesting thing happens on the back of the watch. You might be delighted to see the newly designed Prim rotor in a golden design with a symbol of the Czech lion on the transparent case back.
The smooth leather strap with stitching enhances the classic elegant look.

The women's watches from today's selection are already in the classic Prim women's watch collection. However, several new pieces fascinated me enough with their original look in the vintage style that I simply had to include them.
The Prim W02P women's watch is distinctive due to the unique elongated square construction of the case. The square shape of the case, which is more typical of watches of times past, gives the watch a certain touch of nostalgia and vintage style.
The watch is available with a white or black leather strap.
The Prim Iris women's watch is unique mainly due to the skeleton construction of the teardrop-shaped case and the layered lacquered dial in a warm ocher shade.
The ocher color of the dial, resembling a patina, gives the watch a certain touch of retro. The same applies to convex glass.
The thin leather strap with an unusual attachment to the case also feels original.
The watch is also offered with a white strap.
